Het DIVD CSIRT sluit case DIVD-2021-00001, Exchange ProxyLogon. Op dit moment detecteren we nog zo’n 7000 systemen die kwetsbaar zijn voor de ProxyLogon kwetsbaarheid uit januari en een zo’n 5500 die ketsbaar zijn voor de kwetsbaarheden die Microsoft in april bekend maakte.

Omdat dit aantal nu al geruimte tijd gelijk blijft draagt het CSIRT deze case over aan de onderzoeksgroep om te kijken waarom dit is en of wij iets kunnen verbeteren aan onze werkwijze om deze hosts wel gepatached te krijgen.

The DIVD CSIRT will be closing case DIVD-2021-00001, Exchange ProxyLogon. At the time of writing we are still detecting about 7000 systemen that are vulnerable to the ProxyLogon vulnerabilities announced in January and about 5500 vulnerable to the vulnerabilities published in April.

Because this number has remained stable for some time now, the CSIRT is handing over this case to the research group to see why this is and if we can improve out methods to get these hosts patached.
