In reactie op onze meldingen hebben wij veel berichten ontvangen van organisaties die verbaasd waren dat hun systemen als kwetsbaar werden geïdentificeerd door onze scans, terwijl de systemen in kwestie reeds eerder gepatched waren. Onderzoek lijkt erop te wijzen dat een herstart van het systeem, of op zijn minst de Remote Desktop service, noodzakelijk is om de patch daadwerkelijk te activeren.
Het DIVD is hierover in contact met Microsoft.

In response to our reports, we have received many messages from organizations that were surprised that their systems were identified as vulnerable by our scans, while the systems in question had already been patched. Research seems to indicate that a restart of the system, or at least the Remote Desktop service, is necessary to actually activate the patch.
The DIVD is discussing these findings with Microsoft.
